La amabilidad del personal y la limpieza

Solamente 1 día no hicieron la limpieza, llegamos de un paseo a las 8pm, lo reportamos e inmediatamente nos mandaron a alguien.

El hotel en sí es muy lindo y lo bastante amplio para no sentirse invadido aún sabiendo que hay mucha gente en el complejo, las piscinas son hermosas y limpias, los restaurantes variados, la comida buena para un all inclusive, el boliche es perfecto para pasar un buen rato de diversión y las animaciones nocturnas son también muy buenas. La zona del Beso donde me hospedé es de lo mejor, muy tranquila y de verdad te da la sensación de estar en otro hotel mucho más íntimo. Lo mejor de lo mejor es la atención de Katia y Jorge para los clientes Booking, siempre atentos a todo desde la llegada y el registro hasta el checkout, diario nos preguntaban cómo la estábamos pasando y si todo estaba bien en la habitación y con las instalaciones del hotel. Este servicio casi personalizado es un mega plus que hace que te sientas muy bien y que te den ganas de regresar.

El hotel ya casi no tiene playa, esto es un problema de toda la zona de la Riviera norte, el mar se ha llevado la playa y queda muy poco así que si uno va buscando pasar el día nadando en el mar o disfrutando de la playa no es la mejor opción. Aún así en las albercas también se la pasa uno muy bien, así que cuestión de gustos. Lo que más penaliza al hotel, para mi gusto, es la atención y el servicio del personal del bar del Lobby, fueron muy desagradables, respondiendo mal y atendiendo de mala gana, es muy notoria la diferencia que hacen entre la clientela de USA y la nacional, con los gringos se rien de todo y les dan todo lo que quieren a cambio de billetes de 1 dolar y a uno como mexicano lo tratan muy diferente aún así dejes propina. El hotel debería trabajar más en este punto porque el turismo nacional también les aporta mucho y esta diferencia que hacen es muy desagradable, aclaro no todos, de hecho la mayoría del personal muy bien pero desafortunadamente el trato de 2 o 3 personas que te hacen pasar un mal momento afecta mucho la imagen general del hotel.

Comida, bebida y atención

Al hacer check out la atencion del personal deja mucho que desear.

La atencion al cliente mientras tengas el brazalete puesto es maravilloso. La comida muy rica y la cama deliciosa.

El restaurante oriental no cuenta con aire acondicionado, es literalmente un horno, no deberian abrirlo hasta que no lo reparen. Cuando haces check out y te quitan el brazalete toda la atención cambia, y no para bien...

tuvimos un detalle con el a/c del cuarto que reportamos desde la tarde y nos lo resolvieron hasta las 3 de la mañana, eso pudo haber sido algo que no nos gustó en absoluto

Instalación eléctrica un poco justa Taxis muy caros, creo que fuera del hotel muy cerca había un punto de recogida para ir a Cancún y quizá algún otro destino, pero nadie nos informó, lo descubrimos al ya casi finalizar la estancia

para poder reservar en alguno de los restaurantes del hotel, tenia que ser por app y tenias que hacerlo muy rapido ya que en cuestion de 10 minutos se terminaban todas las reservas de los hoteles.

Sin duda lo que mas me gusto fue el servicio de la barra del pool bar en especial de Jesus pero todos (Gustavo Alejandro Wilbert Joel Ulises ) se portaron super bien , tiene variedad en sus instalaciones asi que siempre hay algo que hacer y esta muy grande .

La comida no era muy buena , el agua de la regadera olia mucho a azufre , ademas que los horarios de la app no coinciden con los establecidos en el hotel y las reservas del restaurante esta muy bien que la puedas hacer desde la app pero no nos dejaron entrar hasta que estuvieramos todos juntos y eso que el restaurante estaba solo .

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean. Great facilities. Pools were great.

In both the restaurants and the buffet the food wasn’t clearly labelled with what it contained making it difficult for anyone with dietary restrictions / allergies. The staff would be very accommodating when you explained but the lack of clear ingredients made it difficult. Sometimes a dish wouldn’t even state a key ingredient like meat so it appeared vegetarian on the menu only to come with beef that wasn’t mentioned. And in the buffet nothing was labelled, again making it difficult.

The Marina (Brazilian) restaurant was amazing, but it books up fast so make your reservation right at 9am and note the night it's closed. I also enjoyed the coffee shop every morning - a cheerful, friendly staff member! The grounds were well manicured and clean, the beachfront was long and lovely - providing a great stretch for walking each morning. Breakfast mimosas were delicious! We stayed in El Beso and were upgraded to a Privileged (updated) room but without Privilege benefits. Enjoyed the ice cream!

We thought the food was ok, but not great. Not always hot. We tried all of the restaurants. While the entertainment was good, most of it was in the lobby which was NOT a good venue - terrible seating! The house vodka is awful - if you're a vodka drinker, ask for Absolut.

We loved our room, but we didn't like that there was no elevator working in our building. Walking up and down 4 flights of stairs wasn't the most fun in the heat especially when we got sick. I don't know how the staff manage!! Our room looked nicer than in the pictures though so - exceeded expectations! We loved Ricardo at the El Beso pool and Eusebio at the Chill out bar who took care of us while we were there. Loved the à la carte restaurants! All of them. Didn't necessarily love the hours available but being in "low season" it wasn't too bad. The service and the food at these restaurants were phenomenal. I can't remember the name of all the servers but they were really professional. My boyfriend loved the pool but it was way too warm for my liking. I didn't find it refreshing, he loved floating around it so this might come down to preferences. The size of the pools are great though and we loved hanging out at the El Beso pool exclusively. We were offered a free massage and hydrospa service for sitting with the Premium Travel Club reps. It was quoted as a breakfast meeting, then it was 90 minutes, and the reality was 4 hours. Because we were there for 8 days, we didn't mind, but if you're there for a short stay you might not like it. I don't think the club is a good deal but there were a few people we met with the special gold/black bracelets who are part of the club and they didn't say anything negative about it. I loved the massage - the hydro spa is also nice but pro/con to having it all to yourself. Pro - all to myself! Con - got boring fast. Great view of the sea when it wasn't brown. Coffee shop and ice cream parlour - favourite stops!

Hours of restaurants, pools and bars. Specifically we thought the adults only (El Beso) bar should be open longer. Tiles missing in the pool (El Beso) and I cut myself sitting on the edge of one of the structures in the pool (trying to cool off in the 40 degree air!) Not sure about the buffet (Casa del Mar), in hindsight we should have only eaten the food that they were making in front of you because we did both end up sick. However, it might have also been that we somehow swallowed the tap water when brushing teeth/showering. I don't want to hate on the hotel unnecessarily. The Ocean Coral Burger hours are very short, the line is very long and the woman who works it probably hates it. Didn't like that they made a fuss about one group playing their bluetooth speaker and then letting 3 other groups play their music through bluetooth speakers. They clean the beach but there's still lots of seaweed rolling in and sometimes the water is brown - not their fault though. Didn't like the attitude of Gustavo from the dive shop, went with another dive shop in Puerto Morelos and had a great time - there are tons of dive shops in town that offer better prices for local reef diving.

The Bistro was a very nice touch. Breakfast and lunch here were both good. The pools were all very nice. We enjoyed the palapas and loungers on the beach. Waitstaff was very good. The main buffet was good for all 3 meals. Lots of variety and usually 2 cook stations going. We really liked the Villa Marina Steakhouse and Sensai. Steak was really good at both. I enjoyed the bowling! Check in and out was really easy and quick. Nice little gym above the Spa. Usually was only 2 or 3 other people using it.

We really didn't like them allowing people to reserve spots at the Beso pool at 6am. If you got there after 7 there were no chairs available. We had a lot of trouble getting towels. They always seemed to be out or on the way to get more. I thought we would avoid the Sargassum in February but it was not to be, not the fault of the resort! They could have made a better effort to clean it up. The last few days we were there they did have a tractor out every morning.

not too big on the scale of places to stay in the area, some wonderful staff and plenty of choices of places to eat.

bit of a 2 tier system for booking places to eat and a tipping culture to ensure a sun lounger etc…

Everything was great. Food and drinks were wonderful. Everything was clean and rooms were large and beautiful. I wish there had been a door on the bathroom, we only used the shower as no privacy to use the tub.

Only thing we noticed was a bit understaffed in bars and restaurants. Service was a bit slow but only because of understaffing.

Restaurant info was lacking. Not sure what we were going to eat in a few. Could have explained more. Needed more maps to locate restaurants and other small shops. Did not like the premier section as it restricked and beach use and some restaurants and pools. Making other crowded.

The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were great!

There really isn’t anything to complain about. The food was okay — but it wasn’t terrible either.
